Seed Processing
Seed processing maximises the quality and naturally the value of our customer's seed by maximising yields and profitability. The seed cleaning and grading process removes contaminants such as debris from seed crops before grading them into appropriate sizes.
Using the latest seed coating technology, your seeds are prepared ready for use in all modern agricultural seed handling machinery. The cleaning and grading of seeds ensures that our customers receive the highest quality, cleanest seed possible.

Seed Hygiene
Our innovative technology and machinery includes an optical sorter, this drastically reduces the time traditionally taken to sort your seeds and increases accuracy. Seeds can be sorted at high speed for colour and shape bespoke to your requirements.
Seed hygiene technologies contribute to the development of a healthy, strong crop and a better yield. In the challenging business of seed hygiene, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Some seeds are very sensitive, and the wrong type of seed hygiene treatment could reduce their shelf life or affect their germination rate.
CN Seeds has many years of experience and have developed a range of techniques to rid the seed of harmful microorganisms. We have the expertise, the techniques, and the facilities to study microorganisms and to work on bespoke solutions. Negative effects on the seed, such as delayed germination can be caused by the presence of microorganisms. Our seed hygiene products are designed to deal with these microorganisms and elimination will result in improved germination.
Seed Enhancement
To ensure your seed gets the best possible start to germination and rapid growth we offer the latest crop protection chemicals, biologicals and biostimulants to maximise yields and your return. Early growth provides a higher chance of overcoming early insect pests or weed infestation and consistency from the start.

Seed Priming
Seed priming involves the partially hydration of seeds and maintaining them under a defined moisture, temperature and relative humidity for a period of time, seeds are optimally hydrated allowing important pre-germination steps to be accomplished within the seeds. Once the priming process is complete seeds are dried back. Following the priming process, seeds are physiologically closer to germination and have fewer steps to complete than un-primed seeds in order to accomplish germination and growth after planting. Primed seed helps the crop to germinate quickly and evenly making it easier to manage, spray and harvest. Making your yield more marketable and increasing returns.
Seed Film Coating
Film coating suppress dust and helps the seed flow easily through your machinery, allowing uniform drilling. We can accurately apply plant protection products to film coat pelleted and naked seeds to environmentally aid seedling growth. Microplastic-free polymers are also available.
